    How it works

    Step 1: You peel a small paper backing off a clear adhesive square and press it onto the cube.

    Step 2: You stick the cube to your nightstand.

    Step 3: You use your thumbnail to lift the tiny "lip" on the front of the cube. It swings upward on a hinge.

    Step 4: You lay your cable into the groove and let the lid drop. The magnet "clicks" it shut, securing the cable.

    Will my specific charging cable fit inside the clip?

    yes. The internal diameter of the clip is 7.5 mm,is designed to be "one size fits all." It easily accommodates standard iPhone (Lightning) cables, USB-C cables, and even thicker braided nylon cords or laptop power adapters. However, it may be too small for very heavy-duty industrial extension cords or super thick HDMI cables.

    Can I move the clip to a different location after I've stuck it down?

    Yes, but you shouldn’t reuse the same adhesive pad. The clips use a high-bond acrylic adhesive that is meant for a single, strong application. If you want to move a clip, you should peel it off (it won't leave a residue) and use one of the extra replacement adhesive pads included in the box to stick it in its new spot.

    Does the magnet interfere with my phone or the data in the cable?

    Not at all. The magnet used in the clip is small and shielded within the plastic housing. It is only strong enough to hold the "trap door" lid shut. It is perfectly safe to use near smartphones, tablets, and laptops, and it has no effect on the electricity or data flowing through the cable.

    How do I make sure the clip doesn't fall off my desk?

    The secret is in the surface preparation. For the strongest bond, you should wipe the surface (wood, glass, or metal) with a damp cloth or a little rubbing alcohol to remove dust. Once you press the clip down, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before you start pulling on the cables. This allows the adhesive to fully "set" and ensures it stays put for years.

    One-Handed Operation

    Because of the magnetic lid and the 60° rotating hinge, you can pop the clip open with one finger, drop the cable in, and let it snap shut. You don’t need to use both hands to "thread" the wire through a hole.
